I am looking for places that are good to bank fish. Crappie and Bluegill are preferred. Grayson, Yatesville, Greenbo, and anywhere else close...

Anyone know of any?

I can take you to a couple good ponds but they are catch and release

Fallsburg, laurel gorge, carter caves, Paintsville lake, gravel pit. Tygart Creek is full of bluegill, crappie, and rock bass.

I have never fished carter caves. Is it decent?

It can be certain times of the year. Better if you have a Jon boat. It's only about 60 acres. Where the spillway pours into tygart creek is better, but requires some hiking. I usually park at the concrete bridge just before you enter the park and fish the creek all the way back up to the spillway.

Hit Grayson Spillway this morning. Caught trout on rooster tail, and a couple very small gills on nightcrawlers.
